ODIN is known to be a war-god from the Norse mythology who is associated with wisdom, healing, death, war, battle, royalty, victory, sorcery. He is portrayed as one-eyed, and long bearded wearing a cloak and a broad hat, wielding a spear named Gungnir. He is seen accompanied by many animals like his two ravens Hugin and Munin which are symbolic of thought and memory who report back what they see while around the world.
MITHRAS is a mysterious Roman God who is often known as the God of contract and mutual obligations. Sacrifice of the bull is said to be one of the most important Mithraic ceremony. Mithra when sacrificed then bull it transformed into a moon. Contract and sacrifice are connected, since treaties in ancient times were sanctioned by a common meal.
ZEUS is the sky and thunder god in the Greek mythology. Zeus’ symbols are the thunderbolt, eagle, bull and oak. He is associated with wisdom and awareness. He also possesses a giant golden eagle called Aetos Dios.
AMON RA is the Egyptian God of sun, the day, light, heat and creation of life. As a Sun God, Amon-Ra displayed the ability to create powerful blasts of fire.
Adam and Eve

Adam and Eve are said to be the first man and woman created by God who lived in the Garden of Eden. God acknowledged Adam about the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge and both Adam and Eve were told that they could eat anything except the fruit from that tree. That fruit is often depicted as an apple. Adam and Eve were convinced by Satan to eat the forbidden fruit which meant their loss of innocence and acceptance of knowledge about the evil and destruction. Since they disobeyed God they were banished from the Garden Of Eden. The symbolism of having the apple means giving into temptations and the loss of innocence.
The Lament for Icarus

Icarus and his father Daedalus were locked in a tower by the king because Daedalus made a maze called The Labyrinth on the king’s order but the king saw it as something very secretive. However, Daedalus made wings out of feather and wax which allowed him and Icarus to escape the prison. Daedalus warns Icarus to stay away from the sun but Icarus got greedy and thought he could reach the pinnacle where the gods themselves lived, flew closer and closer to the sun, until the wax on his wings melted and he fell into the sea. This painting represents the fall of Icarus mourned by the two nymphs also known as spirits of nature.
